We first came across the jewelry online shop Monamour Collection prior to formally meeting its founder Mona Abdallah. Monamour is a play on the founder's name 'Mona' and the French word 'Amour'. We were immediately attracted to the unique jewelry pieces, but we left it at that, but destiny was not quite done yet with us just yet. Shortly after, we met Mona through a series of email exchanges and learned in short about her story and its connection to her business Monamour Collection. We were definitely intrigued and wanted to get more details about the woman behind such big decisions of volunteering her time in another country to help others. What exactly was the inspiration behind her decision and how did it transform her?; were two questions that automatically came to our mind.
